This past weekend, Britany and Tyrone reconfirmed their marriage. They were married just over two years ago by Justice of the Peace in a small courthouse marriage. Wanting to celebrate the union with friends and family with a more formal ceremony, Britany and Tyrone decided to have a reconfirmation ceremony at the Tippecanoe Place in South Bend, IN. They were able to have the gorgeous, intimit ceremony and reception that they always wanted. It was a pleasure to capture their special day.

Cover Photo!

Hey everyone! I know that I have been a bit absent here on the blog, but I have a lot of things up my sleeve. One of the things that I can’t wait to show you is the results from my most recent cover shoot. I have had the privilege of taking the photograph that will be donning the cover of a wedding magazine. I can’t really tell you any more until the magazine comes out at the turn of the year, but once that happens, I can show you a bunch of the photographs of the shoot. I know I can’t say much, but let me tell you: IT WAS A BLAST! I am SO pleased with all of the photographs, and I don’t even know which of the photographs they chose for the cover. So, it’ll be a bit of surprise for me, too.

Yay!! I’m married!

These past few weeks have certainly been a whirlwind. With my wedding, Phil moving into our apartment, editing recent weddings and photoshoots, adjusting to the married life, and us trying to catch up on the sleep that was lost, I have not had time to do much else. Next week will probably be the first week that I will feel “normal.”

Most of you may have already seen the pictures of my wedding from my photographer’s blog: Stellasweet Photography but in case you haven’t, be sure to flip over to Marjorie Branco’s page to check them out. I’ll post a couple here for your enjoyment. Working with her was SUCH A TREASURE! She’s such a WONDERFUL lady! If I were to do the whole thing over again, I’d pick her again in an instant. Assisting Marj was Ledra Davis, another wonderful wedding photograper. I met her in Montana at the same photography school I met Marj. With another fellow classmate, Barbi Steps attending the wedding, we all had a mini reunion. It was so much fun! I kind of feel bad for Phil–he was stuck with four photographers talking about lighting, stops, poses, ISO etc… Phil was SO patient, though. That’s why I love him so!
